Dayton Contemporary Dance Company

The Dayton Contemporary Dance Company performs three works by African American composers. With a jazz-based performance style rooted in the Horton technique (like PHILADANCO, Alvin Ailey), DCDC will amaze with their movement. Thematically, the company will raise the roof as they present “In the Spirit of...”

On the program is a work entitled “Vespers,” and the evening concludes with “Highest Praise,” accompanied by local dancers and a gigantic local Gospel choir.
