The 4th African American Read In will be held at the New Bern-Craven County Public Library on Sunday, Feb. 12, 2012, from 3 to 5 p.m. The Read In is a celebration of African American culture, history, literature, music, and dance. There will be presentations by local authors, poets, and musicians. Admission is free.The program is sponsored by the Theta Beta Omega Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
