"Jungalbook"

Mowgli, the human child, is raised by wolves under the guidance of Baloo the bear. Edward Mast wrote "Jungalbook", his first play for young audiences, in 1982 because he loved Rudyard Kipling’s stories about loyalty, adventure, and betrayal. Freely adapted from various Mowgli stories and poems in both of Kipling’s Jungle Books, it won a Distinguished Play Award from the American Alliance for Theatre and Education in 1991.
