Explore the lives and accomplishments of early North Carolina & Raleigh leaders. Discover the who, what, when, where and why of Raleigh's existence from the 1780s to current day. Here the stories of Civil War, politics, business leaders and the changes that took place over the centuries.

On this one-of-a-kind tour, you will walk from the Nature Research Center to Union Square (State Capitol) Legislative Building, Blount Street (Governor's Executive Mansion), down Fayetteville Street, through Moore's Square & City Market to the Progress Energy Performing Arts complex. You visit and learn about 18 different historic sites with TRT's professional guides.
