A complimentary reception will take place directly after the show on opening night, February 13.
On Saturday, February 21, a 7:30 PM pre-show discussion will be facilitated by Walt Caison, Ph.D., active in North Carolina Stop Torture Now. Dr. Caison is a member of the Psychologist for Social Responsibility and is currently organizing a Johnston County based Peace and Justice group to address local racist practices to African-Americans, Latinos/immigrants and of Arabs/Muslims. He works with Longleaf Neruo-Medical Treatment Center in Wilson where his work as a psychologist focuses on organizational culture change as a means of improving service delivery.
The 7:30 PM pre- show discussion on Friday, February 27 will be facilitated by Marshall Hardy, an Amnesty International member and former detainee. In 1968, Mr. Hardy was an exchange student visiting Paris for the Bastille festivities in the Latin Quarter. He was arrested and beaten along with 75 others that were taken into custody that night as political prisoners.
