The Spitfire Grill

A parolee follows her dreams to a small town in Wisconsin & finds a place for herself at Hannah's Spitfire Grill. It's for sale, but no takers. The quarry closed, the woods harvested, & the town’s hope disappeared when Hannah’s son was lost in Vietnam. Locals are suspicious as newcomer suggests that they raffle off the Grill. Entry fees are $100 & the best essay on why you want the grill wins. Soon, mail is arriving by the wheelbarrow full & things are definitely cookin' at the Spitfire Grill.
