Ava Gardner Museum - Smithfield

The Ava Gardner Museum is home to an incredible collection including scripts, photos, costumes, and personal belongings of screen legend Ava Gardner. Born on Christmas Eve, 1922, seven miles east of Smithfield, Ava starred in more than 59 motion pictures. She died in 1990 at the age of 67, and is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens, approximately two miles from the museum.
