Why would you intentionally set the woods on fire? Come find out why we burn, the techniques we use and all of the safety precautions taken. It is the season for prescribed burns in North Carolina, so now is your chance to expand your knowledge on the importance of controlled fires in the environment. Meet at the park Visitor Center. There will not be an actual burn event.
