North Carolina Shell Show

The Museum will host the NC Shell Show on Sat and Sun. See displays of seashells illustrating shell life. Exhibit themes include shells from geographic regions, shells within family groups and environmental affect on shells. Displays are judged and receive awards in several categories.
Visiting children are allowed to select from a box of shells donated by the NC Shell Club. The Club also offers shell crafts for sale. There will be vendors of specimen shells and related items.
