Cape Fear 101: North Carolina Hurricanes

Hurricane historian and author Jay Barnes will share stories and photographs chronicling our region’s hurricane history. Barnes will discuss memorable storms like Hazel, Fran and others that battered the Carolina coast over the years.

Cape Fear 101 is designed for area newcomers and others interested in learning more about their community. Mix and mingle with light refreshments before and after the 7 p.m. presentation.
