As part of the CONTRA-TIEMPO Artist in Residence Series, the UNCW Office of Cultural Arts & Centro Hispano present a screening of the 2010 Oscar Nominee for "Best Feature Documentary" WHICH WAY HOME. The film follows several unaccompanied child migrants as they journey through Mexico en route to the U.S. on a freight train they call "The Beast". DVD. 83 min. 2009.

The UNCW Office of Cultural Arts, in partnership with Centro Hispano, presents a 2 week community residency with the Los Angeles based contemporary Latin dance company CONTRA-TIEMPO (Sept.20 - Oct.2). The residency, which includes a line up of free lectures, films, master classes and Salsa workshops, will culminate with a final performance featuring 3 critically acclaimed new works by the company.
