Barker - O’Connor House
517 S. Front Street
Queen Anne style house built c. 1896 for commission merchant, E. Gerry Barker and wife, Alice Schonwald. Purchased in 1904 by Irishman and Union Army veteran, Major Daniel O’Connor and wife, Mary Ann Reilly. It is currently owned by Jim and Maxine Adams.

Dudley-Chadbourn House
323 S. Front Street
Greek Revival style house with Italianate additions built in 1843 by planter, Christopher Haywood Dudley. Purchased in 1871 by commission merchant and steam saw mill owner, George Chadbourn. It is currently owned by Bill and Gail Massey.

Parsley House
224 S. Third Street
Italianate style house built in 1857 for sawmill owner, Oscar G. Parsley and wife Anna McKay. He was a mayor of Wilmington and president of the Wilmington & Manchester Railroad. It is currently owned by Dr. Linda Merrill Howes-Graham.

Cook-Matthews House
108 Castle Street
Queen Ann style cottage built in 1882 by carpenter, Abraham B. Cook, who also constructed several other residences in the neighborhood. It remained in the family for over forty years. It is currently owned by Beverly and Barry Grasley.

Chestnut Street Presbyterian Church
712 Chestnut Street
Carpenter Gothic and Italianate style building erected in 1858 as a mission chapel of First Presbyterian Church. It was purchased by the First Colored Presbyterian Church in 1866 and organized as Chestnut Street Presbyterian Church in 1867. Affiliated with the Presbyterian Church (USA) from 1983 until the present day.

Fire Station No. 2
600 South Fifth Avenue
James F. Gause, Jr. was the architect of the Italianate Fire House with Dutch Revival detailing, built in 1915 by L. H. Vollers for the Wilmington Fire Department. It remained a fire station until 1956. The building is currently co-owned by Working Films with Naomi Swinton and Rick Mobbs. Robert West, Working Films co-founder and executive director, resides upstairs.

Love House
208 S. Fifth Avenue
Tudor Revival style house built in 1932 for Julia D. Love. She and her children, Thaddeus D. “Pidgeon” Love, New Hanover County Auditor, and Franklin D. “Nank” Love, proprietor of the Lingo Grill on Oleander Drive lived in the house for over sixty years. It is currently owned by Dr. David and Phillis Thompson.

Schaefer House
1904 Princess Street
Neoclassical Revival Style house built circa 1916 for an accountant for Pearsall & Company, William Henry Schaefer and wife, Katherine Hall LeGwin. It is currently owned by Andy and Connie Logothetis.

Ulstad House
309 Castle Street
This 3 story Craftsman style bungalow, with Frank Lloyd Wright inspiration, was built in 2005 and features unique trim work and stone masonry. The center front Oak tree was preserved with a foundation that was strategically constructed around the root field. Rick and Melissa Ulstad picked this lot to combine their desire to raise their family in a house with a private backyard and to live in the heart of Castle Street

Diehl House
1809 Grace Street
Craftsman style bungalow built c. 1923 for Arthur C. and Victoria Lynch Diehl. He was the vice-president of Naco Fertilizer Company, a subsidiary of W.R. Grace. In 1954 the house was converted into three apartments. The current owners, Richard Weisman and Michelle Bannon, converted the house back to a single family residence in 2007.

Ebert-Artis House
206 S. Fifth Avenue
Colonial Revival style house built c. 1938 for Harry W. Ebert, member of the Wilmington City Fire Department, and wife Mary Edna Zellers. Beginning in 1972, the house was owned by members of the Artis family for over 30 years. It is currently owned by Gregg Thomas and Thomas Faust.

Way House
208 Castle Street
This Queen Ann style cottage built about 1896 was the residence of the Walter W. Way family during the early years of the 20th century. Walter, wife Juliet Orrell and son Robert Orrell Way owned and operated the W.W. Way & Son plumbing company. It house is currently owned by Jim Northrop.
