Down Syndrome Parent Support (DSPS)
DSPS is a Down Syndrome Parent Support and Special Needs Resource group. Meetings will cover topics of particular interest to special needs parents, and will be designed around input from attending parents. Our first "get to know" meeting is June 2, 6:30-8:30@HomeCare Management Co. We will meet (tentatively) the first monday of each month thereafter. We also will have special events such as family fun days, "mom's nights out", and speaker/resource meetings. We are not exclusive to DS parents and any parent w/ a special needs child is welcome to attend special events. Our mission is to collect strength, knowledge, and passion from as many parents in our area as possible in order to ensure the best lives for all our "blessings".
